SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT AT UL ALUO

Because you are more likely to care about something if you have personal experience with it, Jovana Đukić and I at Studio Jota drew the idea for the visual identity of the UL ALUO sustainability group from goosebumps, which is a universal language – it is a physical reaction of animal species to stimuli that we deeply connect with in various ways. We can be most effectively sustainable when, as a crowd, we establish these kinds of relationships with the planet, ourselves and with others, and together try to change the narrative, persistently taking away outdated practices and “hole punch the system”. After doing so, we are left with many circles for use as building blocks for a greener future.
The project was commissioned by the Academy of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Ljubljana.
