spatial intervention
Let’s play! •
In June 2021, I set up a spatial intervention as a part of my Master’s Thesis research. My aim was to change a tiny part of our town in order to break the daily routine of its citizens and push them into new situations. With playfulness and positivity I wanted to inspire and encourage passers-by to step up and take action.
The main elements were the colourful shapes, hand made out of paper clay. Visitors were able to attach them to posters, quilted with velcro tape. A lot of people (kids especially) started to spontaneously play with the shapes.
In total, more than 40 visual messages were created in just half a day (the intervention was set up for 10 hours).
